Overview

The Mikron® M390S ultra-fast high temperature blackbody calibrator is identical to the M390 in capabilities. But it is a two-part blackbody comprised of a controller section and an emitter section.

Its cavity is a graphite tube target and is available with 25 mm (1 in) aperture that showcases an effective emissivity of 1.0 from 0.65 to 1.8 µm. Target temperature is sensed by a rapid response infrared thermometer and a PID controller regulates the target temperature precisely to your desired value. The controller is mounted on the calibration source and remote set point programming is available via an RS232 communication port.
