Trek 325

High Sensitivity, DC Stable Electrostatic Voltmeter, Measures 0 to ±40 V

Advanced Energy's Trek 325 electrostatic voltmeter is a versatile instrument. It performs non-contacting electrostatic voltage measurements in contact potential (surface work function) determination, materials evaluation, and electret studies applications.

  • Measurement Range: 0 to ±40 V DC or peak AC
  • Accuracy: Better than0.05% of full-scale
  • Speed of Response (10 to 90%):
    • Fastest Speed Setting: Less than 3 ms for a 10 V step
    • Slowest Speed Setting: Less than 5 ms for a 10 V step

Overview

The Trek®  was specifically designed for high sensitivity applications. It enables highly accurate, low noise, non-contacting measurement of electrostatic voltages of 0 to ±40 V over a wide range of probe-to-surface distances. A dual-range front panel 3.5-digit LED display resolves ±10 mV.  And you can monitor the measured voltage through a precision 1:1 voltage monitor output and/or a 10:1 voltage monitor output.

Benefits

  • Utilize low impedance probe sensor that assures high accuracy in high humidity and contaminated environments (e.g. airborne dust, toner, ions, and chemicals)
  • Minimize variation in monitored voltage values as the probe-to-test surface spacing changes
  • Operate or, with optional hardware, in a half 9.5-inch or standard 19-inch rack
  • Benefit from speed control that adjusts the Trek 325's AC response

Features

  • Sensitivity: 1 mV
  • Null Voltage Source: 0 to ±10 V calibrated supply
  • Drift/spacing null adjustment
  • Response speed control
