Overview

The Trek® PZD2000A high voltage power amplifier incorporates an all-solid-state design for high reliability and low-noise operation. Its four-quadrant output stage sinks and sources the load current throughout the output voltage range. This enables accurate output responses and high slew rates into highly capacitive loads. The output stage is fully protected against over-voltage and over-current conditions generated by active loads, overloads, or arcing to the ground.

Benefits

  • Use remote high voltage on/off with automated or computer-controlled systems
  • Adjust current limit or trip level
  • Optimize the AC response for various load parameters
  • Use in dielectric material characterization, polymer and ceramic corona poling, and piezoelectric driving and control applications
  • Benefit from the all-solid-state design

Features

  • DC accuracy is better than 0.1% of full-scale
  • NIST-traceable calibration certificate provided with each unit
  • Precision voltage and current monitors provide buffered low voltage representations of the high-voltage output and load current for monitoring purposes or use as feedback signals in closed-loop systems
  • Output stage fully protected against over voltage and over current conditions generated by active loads, overloads, or arcing ground
