ORv3 Power Monitoring Interface (PMI) Module

Advanced Energy’s HPR PMI is a blind‑mate extension module designed for ORv3 HPR power shelves, providing direct MODBUS access to PSU telemetry and control signals. The PMI interfaces with the shelf through an edge‑connector (Sliver‑style) card interface and presents four front‑panel RJ45 ports for upstream RS485/CAN‑based MODBUS communication to centralized rack‑level controllers. It enables reliable, addressable monitoring of each shelf position, supports selectable termination and shelf addressing via onboard DIP switches, and integrates mechanically with ORv3 shelf requirements through a robust, EMI‑gasketed, service‑friendly design.
