Advanced Energy Showcases Power Technologies for AI Workloads at OCP Global Summit

Veröffentlicht Oktober 09, 2026

Highlighting Support for 50 VDC and 800 VDC Power Technologies,
Presenting the Vision for Next-Gen Power Distribution Architectures

DENVER, Oct. 9, 2026 — Advanced Energy Industries Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS), a global leader in highly engineered, precision power conversion, measurement, and control solutions, outlines its vision for the transition to 800 VDC architectures and showcases its broad portfolio for 50 VDC, 800 VDC, and ±400 VDC power systems for AI workloads at the 2026 OCP Global Summit.

The four-day summit, in San Jose, Calif., from Oct. 12-15, brings together leaders shaping technologies and standards for AI and hyperscale data centers. At booth E25, Advanced Energy will showcase proven data center solutions to meet ever-increasing power demands. These products include board-mounted power and direct-to-server technologies. Advanced Energy will display technologies supporting the transition from 50 VDC rack architectures to 800 VDC architectures and ORv3 platforms optimized for AI applications.

“Rapid growth in AI workloads is increasing power demand to megawatt scale and accelerating the shift toward ±400 VDC and 800 VDC architectures,” said David Richmond, Senior Vice President, High Volume Products at Advanced Energy. “Higher-voltage power distribution can help reduce power losses, heat, and operating expenses, but it also introduces new safety, infrastructure, compliance, and design considerations. We are helping customers prepare for the next generation of power architectures while supporting today’s 50 VDC implementations.”

Advanced Energy data center experts Harry Soin and Andy Brown will deliver three presentations addressing the evolution of data center power and the system-level challenges facing engineers. The presentations will examine changes in rack design and power delivery, ORv3 power-architecture options for future AI workloads, and power solutions for 800 VDC architectures. The speakers will also share Advanced Energy’s perspective on the development of next-generation power-distribution strategies.

Presentation Schedule
All Advanced Energy presentations are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 15, on the concourse level in room CC230A.
