Up to 1000 W Configurable, Fanless AC-DC Power Supplies
The Excelsys CoolX®1000 fanless, convection-cooled series is a configurable AC-DC power supply providing up to 1000 W in a compact U-channel, 254 x 165 x 39.1 mm design. Its fanless design and lack of base-plate cooling requirements help eliminate acoustic noise, making it a smart choice for scientific, medical, and vibration-sensitive applications. It offers extreme flexibility with analog and digital communications (PMBus®) for performance monitoring and control.
The series offers two base models. The CX10S complies with the IEC60950 (second edition) for industrial applications and IEC62368-1 for audio/video, information and communication technology. The CX10M carries the IEC60601-1 (third edition) and IEC60601-1-2 (fourth edition, EMC) for medical applications. The CoolX1000 can be populated with up to six CoolMods, providing up to twelve isolated DC outputs that range from 1.0 to 58 V. Outputs can be parallel connected for higher currents and series connected for higher voltages up to 615 VDC.
New CoolX-G option allows customers and safety agencies to carry out the full 4kVAC and 5.6Kvdc primary to secondary isolation test on the complete power supply, exactly as it will be used and installed in their system with no modifications required.
