2.5” & 5” Size Power Supply
Industrial and medical equipment incorporate multiple subsystems for controls, motors, cooling, and more. These subsystems may require multiple, precise DC voltages with unique power requirements, which can be quickly and easily addressed with a configurable, modular solution.
Space constraints dictate design compatibility and thermal performance making the power supply height crucial. A smaller power supply (like 2.5”) fits into compact setups, while a taller 5” unit might be needed for equipment requiring extra components to improve airflow and cooling.
Advanced Energy’s Artesyn iMP and NeoPower families are housed in a standard 2.5” tall package, and the iVS family is offered in a standard 5” high package. Power ratings from 750 to 4920 W are available, with DC outputs ranging from 1 to 66 V and up to 27 isolated outputs. They have industrial and medical safety approvals and optional compliance to SEMI F47 standard.
