CoolX Series
Advanced Energy's CoolX modular product family offers a versatile series of configurable AC-DC solutions, ranging from 600 W to 3000 W. This family encompasses both natural convection cooled and variable speed fan cooled systems. Capable of delivering up to 24 outputs with both series and parallel options, these units offer PMBus Comms and Control along with Analog Control for enhanced versatility. Further features include a 24 W (5 or 12V) Bias/Aux supply, low leakage, and 4 KV surge protection. With a high-altitude rating of up to 5000 meters, these robust solutions are designed to perform under a wide range of environmental conditions.
iHP Series
Available as air-cooled or liquid-cooled units, the Advanced Energy iHP family of precision AC-DC configurable power solutions fit in a standard 19” rack and offer 4-slot and 8-slot case options ranging from 12 kW to 30 kW power capability. Input options include single-phase and 3-phase up to 600 VAC nominal. Multiple plug-in DC output modules are available providing output voltages from 0 to 250V and up to 600A output current. Modules can be combined in series, parallel or both to achieve up to 1000V and 1600A outputs. multiple options to quickly create a custom power solution.
The iHP family offers either an analog or digital interface, while a software graphical user interface (GUI) allows for easy configuration and user dashboard creation. Using the optional PowerPro Connect Module allows communications in Digital Ethernet UDP, RS485, CANBus or Ethernet TC/IP. The platform offers accuracy, resolution, and stability as either a programmable voltage or current source for medical, industrial, lighting/horticulture, and semiconductor applications. It is available with industrial and/or medical safety approvals and is SEMI F47 compliant.
iMP Series
Advanced Energy's Artesyn iMP™ family of AC-DC configurable power supplies, ranging from 750 to 1500 W, provide multiple options to quickly create a custom power solution. The iMP is fully digitally programmable and expertly designed to provide adaptability and support in navigating today's fast-paced, cost-conscious industrial and medical landscape.
The iMP comprise a microprocessor-controlled PFC front end with multiple slots that accept intelligent DC-DC converter modules with single, dual or triple outputs ranging from 1.8 to 66 V with up to 21 isolated outputs, and includes a 5V @ 1A standby output. Single output modules come in four power ranges (210, 360, 750 and 1500 W) that can be mixed and matched and connected in parallel or series to obtain thousands of output combinations customized to any application.
iVS Series
The enhanced iVS™ family of configurable AC-DC power supplies, ranging from 1500 to 4920 W, features an I2C interface for real-time monitoring and control. They have a microprocessor-controlled PFC front end with multiple slots that accept iMP™ DC-DC converter modules with single, dual or triple outputs ranging from 1.8 to 66 V with up to 27 isolated outputs, and includes a 5V @ 1A standby output. Single output modules come in four power ranges (210, 360, 759 and 1500 W) that can be mixed and matched and connected in parallel or series to obtain thousands of output combinations to adeptly address diverse power requirements. The iVS has industrial and medical safety approvals and is SEMI F47 compliant.
NeoPower Series
NeoPower™ is the next generation of configurable AC-DC power from Advanced Energy. It offers best-in-class power density with up to 18 W/in3. Two case sizes, 2400 W, 5-slot and 4000 W, 8-slot, provide multiple options to quickly create a custom power solution. NeoPower offers both constant voltage and constant current control. Modules can be combined in series (300 V max) and parallel (eight modules) to offer 1000’s of voltage and current output combinations.
NeoPower offers a native MODBUS RTU digital interface for control, monitoring and configuration, with separate adapter options for PMBus®, CANBUS, and MODBUS TCP. is certified for both industrial and medical safety approvals, including compliance to the SEMI F47 standard.

Advanced Energy's Excelsys Ultimod family of AC-DC modular power supplies, ranging from 600 to 1200 W, combine high reliability, efficiency, and user flexibility to provide low-cost solutions for medical, life science, and industrial applications. XF Series
The Modular, Hi-Rel Power Solution for Challenging Environmental and Defense & Aerospace Applications
The Excelsys XF family of AC-DC configurable power supplies with power density of 11.9 W/in3, provide 400 to 1000 W in an extremely compact 1U design. Conformal coating, ruggedization, and an operating temperature range of -55 to 70°C make it ideal for harsh environments. Offering up to 12 isolated outputs and a 5 V/250 mA bias standby, the XF platform can provide output voltages up to 348 VDC. Typical application use includes harsh industrial environments , test and measurement, communications, fixed and mobile radar, and military electronics which utilize Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions.
Xgen Series
Up to 1340 W Multiple-Output, Modular Xgen Power Supplies
Quickly design and build custom power solutions. Advanced Energy's Excelsys Xgen AC-DC modular power supplies are user-configurable and offer plug-and-play flexibility. Housed in a compact 1U form factor, the family provides power density of 17 W/in³ and offers up to 90% efficiency. The Xgen family provides 5V Bias/Aux supply and is capable of delivering up to 12 isolated output voltages from 1.15 to 58 V. Output modules can be parallel connected for higher current and series connected for higher voltages up to 348 VDC.
The Xgen power supplies are offered with industrial or medical safety approvals and SEMI F47 compliance. In addition to the Standard Series, other Xgen family options include Ultra-Quiet with low acoustic noise, low noise (medical versions only) and High-Temp (6-slot only) for use in harsh environments where there can be high ambient temperatures and wide temperature fluctuations.
