Advanced Energy's Artesyn PowerPro Dongle support Modbus RTU communication for many Artesyn power supply series, such as NeoPower, LCM10K, LCM4000HV, iTS and iHP series. It converts CANBus/CANopen and PMBus® protocols to the MODBUS input on the PSU (contact AE technical support for the communication protocols documents).

AE’s PowerPro Dongle unlocks real-time powerful monitoring, control, and diagnostics capabilities for designers. Compatible with Advanced Energy’s Evergreen™ modular and NeoPower™ configurable AC-DC technologies, the new PowerPro Dongle provides CANBUS and PMBus connectivity without the need to change the base model. Utilizing the sophisticated MODBUS GUI, users can intuitively visualize and control the power supply to simplify and speed configuration, programming, diagnostics, troubleshooting, firmware updates, and qualification. Advanced Energy’s PowerPro Dongle allows for easier data integration with networked devices, such as AI edge devices. Giving access to data directly from the power system enables real-time monitoring of power usage information.
