Perfect for use in telecommunications, Advanced Energy’s AVD75 series of sixteenth-brick isolated DC-DC converters offer a wide 2:1 input range of 36 to 75 VDC. With two single output models offering fully regulated voltages of 1.2 V or 3.3 V and rated at 25 and 20 A respectively, they employ open-frame construction and 91% efficiency. The AVD75 series is rated at 75 W and accommodates an ambient operating temperature range of -40 to 85˚C. With a baseplate option for enhanced thermal performance, this series has an installed height of just 0.4 inches, making it ideal for systems with inter-board spacing requirements.
