Portable pyrometer for monitoring coke oven temperature from 600°C to 1600°C
The Impac® IGA 315-K portable pyrometer is designed for coking plant applications. Measurements are taken from the top of the furnace with the heating flues switched on. The optical path of the IGA 315-K pyrometer has been modified to aim at the spout brick. The maximum accurate measurement distance is 12 meters. For easy viewing, a circular measurement area is marked on the viewfinder, which represents the size of the target object. To determine the correct measurement distance, the optics are brought into focus, which in turn brings the object into tight focus. Temperature measurements can be viewed directly in the viewfinder.
One-button operation enables you to quickly turn on the pyrometer or save measurements. Up to 2000 measured values can be saved with date and time. Before the measurement, a series of measurements can be defined (eg coke oven heating flue). This stored configuration is convenient for subsequent evaluation and can also be transferred to your PC.
