Impac IGAR 6 Advanced
Stationary, Digital Ratio Pyrometer with Various Operating Modes, 100 to 2000°C
Advanced Energy’s Impac IGAR 6 Advanced pyrometer is a digital, compact and fast pyrometer that can be operated in different modes.
- One-Color Mode: 100 to 2000°C
- Two-Color Mode: 250 to 2000°C
- Smart Mode: 100 to 2000°C (temperature-dependent, automatic transition from one-color to two-color mode)
- Technical Specs
- Service & Support
The Impac® IGAR 6 Advanced pyrometer can operate in one-color mode (100 to 2000°C), two-color mode (250 to 2000°C), or special smart mode.
In two-color mode (ratio method), two adjacent wavelengths are used for temperature determination. Temperature measurement is largely independent of the object’s emissivity and, in wide ranges, unaffected by dust and other contaminants. The measuring object can be smaller than the spot size. You also can measure through dirty-viewing windows up to a certain contamination point.
In smart mode, measurements between 100 to 250°C are taken in one-color mode. In the 280 to 2000°C range, measurements are taken in the two-color mode. In the 250 to 280°C range, there is a continuous, automatic transition from one-color to two-color mode.
- Measure fast processes thanks to a two milisecond response time
- Connect to a PC via an RS485 to USB connection
- Adjust parameters and analyze data using InfraWin software
- Automatically determine emissivity when using the two-color or smart mode
- Complete digital core for sub-ranging and adopted analog output
- High quality optics with manual focus capability
- Robust, stainless steel sensor for harsh environments (IP65/NEMA4)
- Four-digit LED display
- Dirty-window warning
