Overview

The Mikron® M335 blackbody calibration source is a general purpose high temperature. It provides a very quick heat-up time of only thirty minutes to reach 1200°C. A self-tuning digital PID Controller with adjustable set point holds the temperature to within 1°C. An internal fan keeps the cabinet surface at a safe, comfortable temperature.

The M335 design achieves significant weight and size reduction over the M330 series with only minor sacrifices in specification and performance, making it an ideal unit where space is limited. The cavity combined with radiance calibration yields an effective emissivity of 1.0 from 0.6 to 1.8 µm over the temperature range of 300 to 1500°C with an aperture of 16.5 mm (0.65 in). An integrally mounted PID controller completes this versatile calibrator.
